Launch of the Clever Minds Podcast
Clever Strategy Launches Clever Minds: 15 Minutes on the Future of Marketing
Rotterdam, September 8, 2026 – Starting today, Clever Strategy is launching“Clever Minds,”a new podcast series about the trends shaping the future of marketing. In episodes lasting about 15 minutes, co-founder Kjeld Piek talks with experts about the future of marketing, covering topics such as AI transformation, experience marketing, customer experience platforms, and the shift from SEO to GEO.
With Clever Minds, Clever Strategy aims to look beyond new tools, trends, and technologies. The central question is always what a development actually means for marketers, entrepreneurs, and organizations.
“There’s a lot going on in marketing right now: AI, GEO, new customer expectations. New technology quickly attracts a lot of attention, but what that really means for organizations often goes underexplored,” says Kjeld Piek, co-founder of Clever Strategy and host of Clever Minds. “With Clever Minds, we look beyond the hype: what’s really changing, what does that mean for your organization and your customers, and most importantly, how can you apply this as early as tomorrow?”
From AI Adoption to GEO
Each episode addresses a single current marketing issue. The focus is not on the technology itself, but on the change it represents. The first few episodes cover topics such as:
AI Transformation: Howcan you ensure that AI doesn’t remain limited to isolated experiments, but actually becomes an integral part of daily work practices?
Experience Marketing and CXP: Whathappens when marketing shifts from pre-planned campaigns and customer journeys to systems that continuously recognize signals, make decisions, and learn?
From SEO to GEO: Howis online visibility changing now that consumers and business decision-makers are increasingly using AI platforms to find and compare companies and solutions?
In the episodes, Piek speaks with, among others, AI expert Robert van der Zwart, Strategy Director Wouter Vos, and GEO expert and author Martin van Kranenburg.
Not a long podcast, but it goes in-depth
Clever Minds has deliberately chosen a compact format. Each episode lasts about 15 minutes and follows a familiar structure: a current development, a number of thought-provoking statements in the Rotterdam Speedtest, an in-depth discussion with the guest, and finally, “Learning of Tomorrow.”
That last question serves as the central theme of the series: What specific step can a marketer or entrepreneur take on their own after listening?
“There are plenty of podcasts where you spend an hour and a half listening to a good conversation,” Piek continues. “Clever Minds does the opposite: it’s short and to the point. After 15 minutes, you’ll have gained a new insight—and you’ll know how to apply it tomorrow.”
Thought leadership on the future of marketing
With Clever Minds, Clever Strategy continues to build on its focus on the marketing of tomorrow. The podcast addresses the challenges organizations are currently facing: changing customer behavior, the rise of generative AI, new forms of online visibility, and the ever-growing role of data and technology in customer relationships.
“Clever Minds aligns with the direction our agency has been moving toward for some time: not only advising on the marketing of tomorrow, but also continuing to think aloud about it—together with our network of experts,” said Piek.
